The Day of Ingenuity

Today being the Day of Ingenuity in the Secret Language of Birthdays, I seem to have an enormous feeling inside of me that something either has or will go really well. Like I'm have won something or I am going to win something big. I am putting this notation here as a reminder to myself that I felt it coming. To others so that they know that you can't miss your train, you can't be left behind if you know where your going.

Subconscious Conversations

Listen to your Subconscious. Its trying to talk to you- constantly. When you have a question, ask it to yourself, your Innerself, and generally if you listen intently enough the right answer will come to you. Now whether or not you have the strength of character, knowledge, or will to actualize that answer is a whole separate story.

Also, once you have believe in your communication with your subconscious, make a deal with it. Tell it that you will look out for and all you ask is that it look out for you. Tell it that you will listen to it and in return you know that it will listen to you. This has been a very powerful concept for me because like so many I have not only acknowledged the faculty of my subconscious in my day to day life but I have consciously noticed many times in which it has either told me to make the right choice for my life or straight up made the choice for me.

This has added to my entire concept of positivity and negativity. When something goes missing and you have to buy a new one, don't fret - it was probably your Subconscious hiding it away someplace for you to find it later when you really need it. When you have tried all of the positive thinking methods and you still don't see millions of dollars running into your bank account, consider it that the delay is due to the Universe preparing you for what you really want. If you want to be rich and famous, yet find yourself stuck doing the same routine for years, don't give up, you'll get to your goal, just see the delay as practice for what you truly want to be. You know the other day I made the mistake of watching Hogan Knows Best in which The Hulk, Hulk Hogan was lecturing his singer daughter about the necessity for practice. She was complaining about practicing for 2.5 hours when she was suppose to practice for 3 and The Hulkamaniac takes a brief pause from his Hulkamanianess to remind her that he use to go to wrestling practice twice a week for hours, he'd be in the gym atleast twice on other days, that he had to sleep in his car and that he was brushing his teeth in gas station bathrooms for 2 years. I had a moment when he was saying that because he wasn't bragging or anything, he was just saying how it is (brother). Mind you he is saying this while standing in a several million dollar house being one of the most recognized figures in the sport. Now if Hulk Hogan could go for 2 years brushing his teeth in gas station bathrooms brother, my problems aren't that bad. Its not a comparison thing its just a small glimpse into how a person can go through some rough areas of life yet pursurvier. If your at the stage right now where your brushing your teeth in gas stations, hold on. Thats all I'm saying.

A Post Against Negativity

A post against negativity is a post for positive living. Recently I revisited a blog whose author has all the telltale signs of chronic depression. Everyone has been depressed at some point or another over some major or minor issue. The one thing I don't want is for people who are depressed to think that noone else understands their plight. We all do. Depression is really a matter of how you and those around you react to it. I'm not a trained psychologist and I have never been diagnosed with any form of medical depression nor can I relate to being depressed for several years. I'm sure there are scenarios(tragedies) in which this has occurred and to which depression is a viable result. Despite this I will say that every human being on this planet would agree that depression is meant to be only a temporary occurrence. Happiness on the other hand is a lifetime gift.

When The Keys Fell Down The Drain

If your like me then you slightly clumsy. If your also like me you have had a moment similar to having just dropped your keys down a sewer drain and stood there with an "Oh $hit" look on your face wondering what to do next. Life seems to have alot of these moments, key eating sewers and strokes of (bad) luck that resulted in moments of frustration inconprehensible to others. Once you realize that everyone has been there, the 'key' then becomes how you choose to react to it. Fretting makes sense but most people have one of two reactions.

Positive is: "Ok screw this, I guess the Universe doesn't want me to drive."
Negative is: "#@%#!! This ^ &)$% #'in +#% @(!!!ed mother&%+&$'n &&^%@$#@ **** !"
Depressed be: "God this always happens to me and noone else!!! This isn't even a bad day, this is a bad week."

Somehow when multiple negative things occur in ones life we tend to compound them and then amplify them as if the Universe had something personal against us.

{Note: I do thin that the Universe has something personal against some people but thats another post}

We tend to augment problems by not only 1. Linking them to other problems i.e. My ipod broke ...and.... My keys fell down the drain = I must be having a bad week. Once you start rationalizing that a 'bad week' exists and it exists for YOU then you have basically turned a broken ipod and some lost keys into a 7 day period of hell. Which is why...

If You Want To Change
...there is no such thing as a 'bad week.' In fact there is no such thing as a bad day. It is not really suggested (or realistic) that you dismiss these phrases and others like it from your vocabulary but stop believing in them. If your first thought about dismissing belief in these negative periods of bad luck is 'Its not that easy" or "I can't just do that" then I'll give you this example. Depending on how you were raised there probably was a period of time when you believed in Santa Claus... and now you don't. If someone damaged your roof and your 3 year old neighbor told you 'Santa did it' you would dismiss that possibility and look for other sources of reason. It is similar to the concept of 'bad luck.' You don't have to stop using a phrase in order for you to recognize the truth behind its existance or lack there of. Bad luck doesn't exist, Good luck is a matter of Universal circumstance. If somene wins the lottery we consider that good luck but it really is the matter of circumstance generated by the fact that they played the lottery and won. Typically, Bad luck has the property of "following" someone when in actuality it is us who create bad luck and follow it around in our heads.

Some say The Secret to Life began with The Secret

If your like many people you have heard of, seen, been told about, or read The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. If you haven't here is a quick review of the entire idea behind The Secret. Much like self help tapes like Quantum Mind Power, The Secret is designed to help you attain all of your worldly (and spiritual) wishes and be successful.

Spoiler Alert #1: The Secret does work. 100%

Spoiler Alert #2: The Secret of Life is positive thinking and helping people.
(There I saved you the silly book/dvd fee)

The crux of books that try to give self development information like The Secret and spinoffs of The Secret such as
Secret Behind The Secret,
Revolutioniz: Harness The Hidden Laws of The Universe,
etc, etc is basically being positive will get your positive things. The downside is when things are neagative you can't give in to negative emotions. Ultimately these programs teach you that to gain success you must learn the financial virtue of helping other people. When you think about it, that is ultimately the point of life almost. If you stopped and took a moment to look around you, you would realise that every object in your sight was made by someone else. Every company, every multimilionaire, every job that exists on this planet is designed for one person to make money off of helping another in some fashion. Essentially these programs, on different scales, try to teach you that for you to be happy, you just have to... "Dont worry, be happy." Even when the world gives you something to worry about, you can only attain happiness by concentrating on making yourself happy even while the Universe bombardes you with negative thoughts/occurances.

The success/money aspect of these programs comes with the recognition that to make money you must first accept that every income earning product or service was designed by someone to help someone. if you want to make money you first have to vizualize living a good happy productive life and then go out and pursue one of the many lucrative avenues of helping others. It doesn't get more general than that. No self help program can make you generate an inventive idea alone. They can show you how to make money on eBay, they can feed you lines on how to make free money online or scamming other people but all of these methods pale in comparison to what most people actually want; To be in control of their life as far as health, wealth, and happiness. When it comes to wealth people seem to think that being the CEO of their own multibillion dollar company as the optimal status. It provides them with the control, freedom, comfort, and security that many long for so badly. The issue is that the few CEO's that weren't born with a silver spoon in their mouths and actually created their own wealth as everyone wishes they could do - all started off with an idea. A thought. A sliver of intuition or an invention that was followed by action that resulted in millions of dollars and a company.

The Secret and other materials like it, some of which are posted below if you wish to indulge in the details, tell the average reader that if you desire more, especially financially, all you have to do is understand that you can make money by looking at the wonderful, beautiful world around you and asking "How can I help?" Once you do that, God/The Universe it seems, with fill in the details. You just have to watch for the signs.

The Nah-Sayers

For those of you that have doubt, for those who are perpetually negative or just generally don't think that positive-thinking is enough to change your life for the better, all I can say is: Try it. See for yourself if changing your thinking to atleast be comprised of a majority of positive beliefs vs negative does not change your life. If you are of the like and kind that (atleast) 51% of your actions, beliefs and thoughts are positive then I'm sure your already on the bandwagon and your exploring your own journey. If you internally believe that less than 50% of your actions, beliefs and thoughts are negative then your probably miserable and unhappy and you want a change.

Note: Some people are always unhappy, unlucky, negative, miserable, like it, and have no desire to change. Stay away from these people as best as possible. There is no such thing as ONLY being self-destructive if you know what I mean.

A Start

If you want a place to start, if your down and out for whatever reason and you don't want to be that way anymore and you just want a little step onto being a happier and more successful person in general, start by analyzing your thoughts. If and when you get to the point where you can objectively believe "I have more good thoughts than bad ones." or "I do more good actions than bad ones." - it will be like being in love, you will be 100% certain that you have found the secret of life.
